The only thing better than attacking your players with a swarm of demonic blooddrinking BEES*...
...is revealing that the big enemy they have just handily dispatched was a simulacrum, and the Empress is actually elsewhere. In another castle.
Perhaps I should call this the Princess Peach maneuver.
*not actually bees but close enough to inspire at least two yells of "BEES!!!" last night.
