Weird. I keep coming up with great things to write LJ posts about, and then never doing so.
It seems that the days are stretching. Every day is stuffed full of events--usually class/work/class/homework/home, but the multiplicity of them makes it seem like fifteen hours have become a week. I remember feeling like this in my first few months at Williams: so much was happening that it felt as if time was slowing down.
sen_no_ongaku and I have started watching Lost. We're hooked. Pretty badly hooked, I think. We're only four episodes in, so no spoilers please...
I attended two public Samhain circles last weekend. Both were good, and one was a better 'fit' than the other.
Apropos of that, I've started writing up a FAQ. Most of the time when I mention that I'm a pagan to someone at the div school, their response is "Really? Whoa. Umm...So what does that mean?" I'm spending more time thinking about what my answer to that question (and others like it) should be. Of course, 99.5% of the FAQ would include me wearing the "Speaking Only For Myself" hat. But I think...I think it's coming together. Mostly what I want is a short answer that still offers real information. Saying "Well, all pagans define it differently" may be most accurate but least helpful. I know several of you are pagans whom I respect and like...would you mind offering your opinions on this sometime?
I also attended a panel on Socially Responsible Investing for work. It was quite interesting, even if my mind supplied the subtitle "Angry Liberals With Money".
And today I'm going to Salem with classmates. I have two 20page research papers to begin research on...but they're due in January.
Oh, and I'm buying you a llama for Solstice.
