Actually I keep warm by indulging in a hot tub soak every day around 4pm, as the sun is starting to go down and my feet are starting to get too cold for me to concentrate. Works like a charm. *g*
Well, I was feeling energetic, but the walk home from work on unshoveled sidewalks kind of took care of that. :) Still, it was kind of fun, and a heck of a lot better than sitting on the bus for hours stuck in the gridlock.
I did the same thing, only it was from Kendall Square instead. Outpaced the CT2 by a good margin, made it home, and made raisin bread because the weather demanded fresh baked bread in the house.
(I pity my poor coworker who had to drive home to Worcester tonight...)
Anyhoo, £%T^&* wintry mix, but enough of it was solid that we still have several inches on the ground. Hence the REAL answer to "Snowed in?" is "SLEDDING!!!"
