low, flying planes

I'm in the airport on my way to the AAR, with a few hours to kill before my flight to Chicago. It's a beautiful day, and the planes are taking off right in front of my window. I'm not quite yet ready, I think, to be saturated with nollij, but I'll be there by the first session tomorrow.

For a few reasons that don't bear explaining on Livejournal, I am pretty low. Therefore, I am making a blatant plea for internet sympathy and combining it with a distraction technique.

So here's my offer.
If you comment, I will reply to your comment with one of three things:
--a costume item that suits you
--a happy memory of you
--a haiku based on a topic you suggest.

Of course, replies may be delayed till I can find some available Chicago webbernets, but I promise a reply to all of them.

And now, I'm going to eat my damn Butterfinger.

I have a picture of you, Nate Dean, and someone whose name I've forgotten, doing the "Hi! My Name is Joe!" dance in the Academy dining hall. You're really rocking out.

Which also reminds me of chopstick day and finger food day at the dining hall...
