Update 1:
He's here. I am so happy I can't stop smiling. I made him eat cheese curds. He says they're not bad, but the squeek is distressing; as if with every bite, they cry out against their fate.

Update 2:
No word from the Red Cross, but I've decided not to take the caseworker position if it's offered to me. Further discussion at a later time.

Update 3:
We also enjoyed ButterBurgers. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmbutter.

Very good!

I think you made a wise decision about the Red Cross. There wasn't any point in me posting since it was a decision you had to make and I wasn't sure I could offer any insight.

Looking forward to your return!

When I was in Wisconsin last month, I passed on the cheese curds, I must confess. Did have pasties, though (no, not the kind you wear!), which may just be a northern WI thing.

I am glad [livejournal.com profile] sen_no_ongaku got there safely. It must be wonderful to be reunited. When do the rest of us get our turn to be thrilled to see you?

One might question whether forced consumption of cheese curds provides appropriately positive reinforcement for his visit.

Yay for safe arrivals! I personally like cheese curds and their squeekiness.
