Applying to two more Hahvahd jobs tonight; both staff assistant positions, but useful and hopeful.

I confess; I bought horrible, horrible music today. Richard Cheese, singer of Lounge Against the Machine, has won my fickle heart with his croony versions of “Closer” and “Bullet the Blue Sky”. Not to mention his Radiohead covers.

Well, I did also buy Tom Lehrer. Does that make up for it?

Meanwhile, what [livejournal.com profile] stealthmuffin says about Riddick is true. Take him to the ship for mind regression! I’m going to kill you…with my teacup. It was a fine, fine B movie! Big, shiny, fun fight scenes. Not that heavy on, you know, “quality”. And yeah, I could hear Vin Diesel talk for hours. Where’s that resonance come from?

I understand Diesel and his GM drew up gaming stats for all the major characters in the movie.

Teacup +3 of sternum slamming. That’s all I’m saying.
