For those interested...
Feb. 7th, 2006 09:36 pmMy workplace, the Pluralism Project, is hosting a presentation this Friday at 11:30 in the Center for the Study of World Religions at 42 Francis Avenue. The blurb:
"Eastern Religions Come to Western Pennsylvania
11:30 am - 1:30 pm, CSWR Common Room, 42 Francis Avenue
A luncheon conversation with Stuart Chandler, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, presented by the Pluralism Project at Harvard and by the Center for the Study of World Religions. Lunch will be served in the Director's Conference Room promptly at 11:30 am; presentation will begin in the Common Room at noon."
It's a pretty cool project--part education about what different religions are, part demonstration of how they're present in western Pennsylvania. If you're coming, drop me a line so I can rsvp you!
