I finished my papers. Tomorrow morning, when I hand the last one in, I will have completed one year of graduate school. They're decent papers; a little rambly at times, but with interesting and good arguments. I think if I'd started work on them a week earlier or been more demanding in my rewrites, they could have been stellar; but as we said in the shop, "done is beautiful."
I made it this far! I did it...myyyyyy waaaaaaay! And I still love it! It's still a privilege and a thrill to be in these classes and talking about this stuff...even if it means stress and funk and suchlike.
Now, it is time for the margarita and the commentary of the Manolo on the Eurovision Song Contest.
ETA: It's also time for the Fishophone! Courtesy of Married to the Sea.
