Booty!

New Yorkers are very helpful if you look dazed. Three direction-givers and a guy who suggested "You should go to Queens--all the sari shops are in Little India" were the key to making Monday's day trip a success.

I must have looked at thirty saris, all different shades of blue, beaded, spangled, woven, and so on. I must have had fifteen "For you, I will give a discount" moments. I forgot to eat lunch and got lost on the E train. I loved it.
