Kicking myself for missing DNC speeches. It's so hard to motivate myself to watch the actual convention--and I can't figure out why.

Meanwhile, I have wasted lunch hour time with THIS!!!

You are Mitsurugi -

Both mysterious and attractive, you captivate people with the fact that you seem to be
good at everything! Spending quiet moments with a friend and talking about what life means to you is your ideal situation. You don't like to stand out very much and you seem to be more old-fashioned
than modern, but when you do take the spotlight -- you command the floor!

Which Soul Calibur character are you?

If I may summarize: Bush is evil, favoring the interests of the monied class over the needs of average Americans. He's an embarassment on the international stage. He wants to divide the country against itself in order to retain pwer. Kerry is a strong leader, a war hero, understands your problems, and will bring people together. He'll make America respected internationally, improve the economy, and make you a member of the monied class.

Do you really need to see the words spat out of Ted Kennedy's sweaty walrus-like visage in order to know what the Democrats' platform is going to be? Bush is an idiot, but Kerry's message is as unoriginal as they come (and none too convincing, at least to me). No one has been able to make this election anything more or less than an up/down vote on Bush himself. A drunken inflatable Norseman could take the place of Kerry and the numbers wouldn't change.

Too bad...

You missed a great speech by Sharpton last night, certain to become one of the classics. It's a shame only PBS and NPR was covering it last night. I can't agree with everything he said, but he is a master orator. The only bad thing about it was that he was followed by Bob Graham Of Florida, who had a tough act to follow.
