Haiku for a rainy day

[sigerson]

on this stormy day
new leopard print umbrella
is made of sheer win

whedon one-liner
"you need anything dampened?"
not so funny now

leak in my closet
allows new way to measure
inches of rainfall

optimist's vision
today bucket is half full
tomorrow empty

unpleasant alarm:
forgot to empty last night
morning overflowed

That is indeed more icky than the actual meaning of the haiku. Although emptying a bucket filled with rainwater and bits of rotted ceiling isn't especially pleasant either.

I think I'll change the order of the haiku to make it clearer...
