sigersonFandom seems to be contagious.
I've dreamed about Lost twice now, despite never seeing the show--never even seeing a commercial for it. I've heard bits and pieces here and there, which are apparently enough to kindle my subconscious.
Dominic Monaghan made no cameos.
Alec Guinness did.
First one involved a house instead of an island--vast and Gormenghast-like. And there were no exits. I had a way out, but it was one that would only take me, so I stayed behind for a while to try and figure out what was going on.
Last night's dream mingled Lost, Millenium, Narnia, and a tiny hint of Willy Wonka. (No Johnny Depp or Everlasting Gobstoppers, sadly.) The island was designed as a test to find the next person capable of creating the island. Ah, circularity. There was a large train (cavernous inside, like the biggest commuter train in existence, at least three stories tall), a broken 1940s airplane, and a lamppost. There were three groups--one escaped by train to some just reward, one by plane to some horrid punishment, and the third stayed behind, filled with inertia and doubt.
I have no answers. But it was a wonderful dream, even when scary.
Maybe after a few more nights I'll have an entire season of a completely different show!
